Hot Key Shortcuts

In an effort to make navigation as simple as possible,Passkey has instituted some simple Hot Keys for jumping from screen to screen within an open event.
 

Your browser (Internet Explorer and Firefox) will determine the combination of keys you will need to use.
 
For Internet Explorer users:
  Simultaneously press the ALT key and the appropriate Hot Key, release them, and then press Enter.
    For example, Alt + T and then Enter will take you to the Tools Tab.

For Firefox users (Version 1.5 and earlier):
  Simultaneously press the Alt key and the Hot Key.
    For example, Alt + T will take you to the Tools Tab.

For Firefox users (Version 2.0 and later):
  Simultaneously press the Shift key, the Alt key and the Hot Key.
    For example, Shift + Alt + T will take you to the Tools Tab.

For Macintosh users:
  Simultaneously press the CTRL key and the Hot Key for any of the above browsers.
    For example, CTRL + T will take you to the Tools Tab.

Available Hot Keys include:

 Smart Alerts
B
 Blocks
C

Create New Event (You don’t even need to be in an Open Event.)
E
 Event Summary or Event Tab
H
 Hotels & Inventory
I
 Manage Inventory
N
 Create New Reservation (You don’t even need to be in an Open Event.)
P
 Preview Web Site
R
 Reservation Tab or Find Reservation
S
 Save (When working on a Manage Inventory page.)
T
 Tools Tab
U
 View All URLs
W
 Web Site Dashboard
 
The highlight of this feature is that for Manage Inventory and Preview Web Site keys, you can be anywhere within an event and quickly move to other pages. For example, from the Find Reservation page, you can:
•
 Jump directly to the Manage Inventory page using the shortcut key of 'I'.
•
 Preview the Attendee Web Site using the shortcut key of 'P'.
